The Hasbrouck Heights Bendix Diner, which opened in 1947 in the center of Route 17, was built by the Master Diner Company, a small company in Pequannock, New Jersey, that built stainless steel diners.
September 2025: It was confirmed that the Bendix Diner had been sold and would not reopen under the previous ownership.
